We are looking for a Senior Frontend (x/f/m). 

Your responsibilities:

  • You are responsible for the technical design and implementation of Advaneo products (including rapid prototyping) for the Advaneo web platforms.
  • Iterative frontend development to implement features, analyze and optimize the existing codebase, and perform debugging and bug fixing is exactly your thing.
  • Handle Product Owner change requests by identifying the requirements (and specifications) for new features.
  • Take part in daily meetings to share your progress and discuss any issues.
  • Collaborate with the team lead and the Product Owner on project planning.
  • Document tasks and ensure quality control of ongoing implementations (code reviews, adherence to defined development standards).
  • You report directly to the Head of Development.

What we expect:

  • Degree in computer science or a comparable qualification.
  • Team player, eager to demonstrate technical excellence.
  • Several years of experience as a frontend developer across different projects.
  • Strong knowledge of frontend technologies, e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, UI frameworks (preferably Angular 19) including state management and testing.
  • Deep understanding of backend communication via REST APIs, including security aspects such as CORS and authentication via OIDC.
  • Solid knowledge of tools such as Docker (Compose), npm, GitLab, Postman, Swagger (OpenAPI).
  • Nice to have: experience operating complex IT solutions (including in the cloud, e.g., in a Kubernetes cluster) including reverse proxies and load balancers.

  • Deliver Advaneo data products effectively using agile methods (Scrum, Lean Startup, rapid prototyping).

  • Work with the development team to foster an environment of respect and trust. Coordinate with the team lead and Scrum Master on dependencies and prioritization.
  • Propose improvements to coding standards, architecture, and processes.

  • Explore new technologies through systematic approaches.
  • Translate user stories and epics into real implementation tasks, considering multiple stakeholders and the existing codebase.

Your responsibilities:

  • You are responsible for building data crawlers, data integration, and data pipelines (using Airflow).
  • You identify, initiate, and advance data science solutions by intelligently combining data technologies with machine learning/AI methods.
  • You design and implement knowledge graphs based on Neo4J.
