Participation in the Days of Digital Technologies 2022

The two-day congress, held for the third time after 2019 and 2020, presented outstanding results from the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action’s funding area “Development of Digital Technologies” in application-oriented technology programs, via specialist forums and panel discussions as well as a large exhibition area.

Jürgen Bretfeld, Managing Director of Advaneo GmbH, which acts as consortium leader of the PAIRS project, had the opportunity to take part in the panel discussion on crisis management.

As the PAIRS team and consortium lead, we had the opportunity together with our partners to present ourselves at our booth to around 600 stakeholders from business, research, and politics, to network, and to inform interested parties about our project progress.

In addition, three keynotes reflected central questions of digitalization from a European perspective, in data protection and security, and on the topic of quantum computing. The keynote by Dr. Lucilla Sioli, Director of Directorate CONNECT.A “Artificial Intelligence and Digital Industry,” was highly relevant for our PAIRS project and our data space for resilience and sustainability, as these topics play a major role on the European policy agenda and as value drivers.
