ScaleTrust presented at the 2026 Data Trustee Models Networking Meeting in Dresden

On 26 March 2026, ScaleTrust was represented at the 2026 Data Trustee Models Networking Meeting in Dresden. The hybrid event, titled “Organizing Scale, Scaling Organization,” took place at the SLUB Open Science Lab and focused on key future issues surrounding data trustee models, particularly Ethical, Legal, and Technology Foresight, as well as the scaling of data trustee models.

As part of the program, ScaleTrust was presented as one of the scaling projects. In the session on scaling projects, Jürgen Bretfeld of Advaneo GmbH contributed the perspectives and insights gained from the project to the discussion. This made ScaleTrust part of an exchange on concrete approaches, challenges, and best practices for building and further developing viable data trustee models.

The event provided a valuable platform for networking and professional exchange with stakeholders from research, practice, and the wider community. For ScaleTrust, the conference was a good opportunity to make the project results visible, gather input from the data trustee community, and actively help shape the discussion on scalable, trustworthy data ecosystems.
